Tuesday we attended Noah's first Marching Band Banquet and met the newly hired Band Director. (Did I mention that he just graduated from the University of South Carolina where he was Drum Major for two years in the "Mighty Sounds of the Southeast" Marching Band!! Go Cocks!! )
We are so proud of Noah and the talent that he has been given! Kudos for being the only 7th grader in the band this season. He was excited to have received his letter! Some kids play sports, some play music, some do absolutely nothing (that was me) ! I'm proud of him no matter what he does but listening to him and knowing he enjoys the trumpet and can use it to glorify God too.... Makes me thankful!
I'm one proud momma!

Road Trip with the Student Ministries
We are headed to Moonshine Mountain for some snow tubing. It's drizzling 😝but we are going anyway! At lunch on the way someone mentioned Girl Scout Cookies..... Because we are great leaders we stopped for a little snack for our road trip hee hee!

Guatemala 2013
Jason has just returned with the Mission Team from Guatemala 2013 and they had an awesome experience. 75 children prayed and received Christ! He is still sharing details of the trip with us. Here are a few pics that tugged at my heart!
Change
Change has come in many ways in our little family the past few weeks. After 7 years of working part time I accepted a position as a Unit Leader in our department and went back to work Full Time and so far it's been great! A challenge juggling being a mom, Pastors wife and now a leader at work but I'm so thankful for all the different hats God has entrusted me with.
My last day picking up my boys from school was bittersweet. I surprised them both with milkshakes from "The Bell". Eli says, "I'm the best mom ever! " and that's music to my ears!
